What I strive to Achieve

My dad’s guitar was a gift from his cousin who got it from his father, and now that guitar is on my hands. I Have also shared many times an instrument to somebody else. I traded a piano for a guitar, I cleaned it and gave it away to my sister’s friend, one time I learned about a friend’s brother cancer treatment and gave away another piano, he said it was his most used electronic device. I let my friends borrow my guitars and equipment, including the library.

I worked in an instrument donation center at a non-profit doing all their photography, ecommerce, and some of the maintenance for some instruments. But when I started fixing their stuff, I volunteered for 100 hours and when we parted ways, I left them a Marshall 4x12 and a tube amp head.

I gave away high quality interfaces, studio microphones, almost new headphones, and studio furniture to my closest colleagues. Now I want to expand into a broader community and higher purpose like: art, film, and indie music communities.; Environment related initiatives, including the development of first party products with a focus on soil health ;Technology that is exciting for music creation, a passion project of making a tape machine prototype ; Children through partner nonprofits, waterboys, libraries, veterans, the more instruments there are in the streets the more demand would exist for lessons.

I commit to making the repairs, adjustments, maintenance myself and allocating the materials appropriately to their purpose, and effectively at that. I have repaired, upgraded, and modified about a dozen instruments, a dozen computers, and many speakers, along with a lot of other technology.  If you wish to work with a tax-deductible donation I will forward those deductions to you.

Art:   Do I use a lot of pedals and fancy steps and splits to my boutique sound chain? No, I rather doing DI most of the time. I know there are Great Artists Out there that Don’t have money to invest in their music, art, film or can’t afford to experiment outside of their comfort zone. My biggest wish is that there was a grant out there for indie artists, but even then, I wish we became part of the solution and have a fleet of instruments and tools on loan. Sometimes materials are needed as well, so that’s where cash comes in! I know people that are big-time, artistic, underground, indie, international, pop-whores, or snobs.

Technology: I have a passion for reiterating on the Studer A80 Multi-Track Recording Tape Machine, there is nothing stopping me from bringing it to fruition if I was in a good financial position to do so. Your contribution would go towards bringing innovation to an abandoned field within Analog Audio Electronics, which is an ever-growing industry.

Besides the development of groundbreaking new audio products in the affordable and the high-end side!

Environment: Did I inherit a bunch of Agro-Tech that focuses on restablishing soil health and the infrastructure to prevent massive deforestation and protect growing trees? Yes! And even more! stuff that could change the world and even get me in the 27 club. So, if there’s any way something unrelated gets donated because you’d love to live in this planet AND you would love the planet to live better. I would trade it for bird feeders, squirrel traps, wildflowers, organic farming, and beehives.

Children-veterans through partner non-profits: And others, like people that are going through medical treatment, legal proceedings, tragedies, insurance settlements, Addiction. There are also people going through unstable living conditions that need technology to get back on their feet, go to school or even find a food bank near them.

Instruments are a team sport but a huge distraction from screens and make teenagers feel like they are expressing themselves. Imagine if the next time you see waterboys They could be practicing or making a band.

About Supporting international issues. I don’t get involved with facilitating human rights or access to information abroad because I have a priority in the community that I live in, Though I like learning languages and anthropology, it’s simply put, something that can only be done in a philanthropy position. I also believe those issues deserve a great deal of scrutiny and transparency which is impossible from a remote location. Additionally, international affairs are a matter of business and information, the biggest help from here is to spread the truth and try to influence the department of state by arguing the clear benefits for the free world.
